So. That whole May 1 reboot thing? Yeah, it didn’t happen. But that’s OK, because the extra time let me get a little better run up to launching. But here I am, and here I’ll stay.
As anyone who knows me should expect, I’m now very happily powered by Django; developing the blogging app that’s behind this site was a lot of fun, and a whole lot easier than writing a blogging app has any right to be. I’ll write that up sometime in the not-too-distant future, and once a few things are taken care of I’m hoping to release the code under an open-source license for all to marvel at.
And before you ask, yes, the markup you’ll see if you hit View Source is a bit… odd. That’s deliberate, and I’ll be writing about that in detail very, very soon. Run it through the validator a few times and try not to let your eyes bulge out of their sockets ;)
And for now, that’s all, but watch this space; considering that I haven’t done anything really resembling blogging since, oh, around August of last year, I’ve got a lot of things on my mind.
