Where to find me at PyCon

My flight arrived in Chicago a while ago, and despite an attempt by the hotel to screw it up, I’m currently sitting in my room enjoying a beer before bed. Here’s my plan for the next few days:

  • Thursday: Working on slides and stuff morning/afternoon, doing the code lab tutorial in the evening.
  • Friday: Definitely hitting up both Django-related talks.
  • Saturday: Hear me speak!
  • Sunday: Probably going to the “What Zope did wrong” talk.

Outside of these predictable time slots, I’ll probably be all over the place; I haven’t yet made up my mind which non-Web-oriented sessions Ill be going to, so if you’re trying to find me just keep an eye out. In case anybody’s curious, I look like this, though I may not be wearing the beanie the whole time…

Going to miss PyCon sadly… any chance you’ll be going to OSCON?

Seriously, that’s the best photo you could come up with?! With a camera stuck to your face (or was there a tragic accident somewhere that you’ve forgotten to mention and you really do have a camera stuck to your face)?

I think there are better photos around. You’re still wearing a hat in my version, don’t worry. :-)

Hi James — I’m sorry to have missed your talk. Are you planning to put your slides online? Many thanks in advance!

James:

It was good to meet you on Sunday evening. Sorry you didn’t make it to the sprint Monday. I had to leave early, I’m afraid. But if you’re at OSCON we can share a dram there.

regards Steve
