So, I’m in Dallas, eagerly awaiting the beginning of the non-tutorial bits of PyCon 2007; I got here around 4:15PM (after a lovely flight where I was inadvertently bumped to first-class), and already things are rocking; I just got back from dinner and drinks with some folks who are doing really cool stuff with and to Django. Already got some interesting ideas and things to continue fleshing out, and I’ve got another four days to spend here.
If anyone’s looking for me, I’m lounging in my room in the Courtyard Mariott down the street (not that that’ll help, because there are four Marriotts within a couple blocks of here, but ping me on IRC and I’ll be happy to help you figure out which one).
1AM: Just got back from lounging around with Robert Brewer and a couple other frameworks folks. Judging by the conversation tonight, there may not be as much blood at the frameworks panel as was previously hoped for. However, I’ve threatened to wield fresh fruit.

I’m here as well, any other Django players around we should meet up. We are staying at the Mariott with the event, although I’m not sure what its called :)
Hrm, why do these things never happen in any country close to Sweden, and more so, when they do, why do I always miss them?
Ludvig, EuroPython 2007 is in Vilnius, Lithuania this year from the 9th through the 11th of July. I haven’t seen the stats, but I would bet that the distance from Sweden to Lithuania is within the average distance people travelled to get to PyCon 2007 this year.
